Drug interactions with Serotune Amino Balance & Serotune Natural Sleep Aid
- Should not be taken by children without the guidance of a physician.
- Should not be taken while pregnant or breastfeeding as there are insufficient studies to show the ingredients in Serotune are safe for use during pregnancy.
- If you have carcinoid tumors, chest pain, heart disease, high blood pressure, or a history of heart attacks you should avoid using Serotune.
- Not an effective treatment for major depression, anxiety, bipolor disorder, or schizophrenia
Below is a list of known drug interactions with the ingredients of
Serotune. If you are taking any medication, we strongly recommend you
discuss Serotune with your doctor, even if your current medication is
not on this list.
Prescription Medication for depression.
Serotune, combined with existing SSRIs, Triclyclics, MAOs, or any serotogenic medication could result in serotonin syndrome, anxiety, heart problems, and shivering. A partial list of these medications follows: fluoxetine (Prozac), paroxetine (Paxil), sertraline (Zoloft),
amitriptyline (Elavil), clomipramine (Anafranil), imipramine (Tofranil).
L-dopa, Carbidopa, or similar medications should not be taken with Serotune.
Weight Loss Medications
Dextenfluramine, or similar weight loss medications should not be taken with Serotune.
Blood Pressure Medications
Individuals on blood pressure medications (for both high and low blood pressure) should talk with their physicians before taking Serotune. The ingredients in Serotune can both increase and reduce blood pressure depending on the individual.
Serotune can reduce your tolerance alcohol and impair your motor skills and judgment. Take extra care when consuming alcohol while on Serotune.
Serotune can greatly enhance the effects of medical marijuana. Avoid using medical marijuana while on Serotune as it may impair your motor skills and judgment.
